Firsts...

Lucas and Lea both decided to try out some new things today.

We went to IKEA today and Lucas went to SMALAND (children's play area). I wasn't too sure that he was going to stay, he sure didn't look all that happy when we left. As we were going through the store there must have been at least 3 announcements for the parents of Luca, which made us jump each time. I don't think we've ever shopped that quickly at IKEA before! When we picked up the happy camper he was all excited and wanted to know if he could come back tomorrow. We're so proud of him!

Lea decided that today would be the day she would finally take a bottle of formula without fussing. We've been trying again to get her to take a bottle and it has been a battle the last few evenings. She would fight it, bite it, spit it out, then drink a little bit and just as quickly stop. But tonight she actually grabbed the bottle and put it in her mouth - could this mean that I am slowly being left off the hook?

Fasching (German Carnival) is coming up and Lucas got his costume today. At first he wanted to be a ghost (for carnival?) but then when his friend Leonardo announced that he wanted to be a clown that is all Lucas wanted to be too. While I was being pampered by my hairdresser Micky, Ralph took the kids to get Lucas a costume. We did a little "dress rehersal" tonight, here's a preview of what is to come next week...

Lea's up, her midnight feed. I hope we get rid of this one soon. Goodnight!

Finally up and running
